Background
Preena trained through the Sydney Children's Hospital's Network (Randwick and Westmead). She holds dual specialist qualifications in both General Paediatrics and Paediatric Neurology. Preena has more than 12 years clinical experience working and training in paediatrics. Her particular interests include neurological conditions, behavioural disorders, developmental delay and early detection of cerebral palsy. She was a clinical fellow at Sydney Children's Hospital in both general neurology and epilepsy. She is currently a Research Fellow in Neurology at the Sydney Children's Hospital, with an interest in epilepsy. She is a part of the NSW Acute Seizure Management Committee and has co-authored the state seizure management guidelines. Preena is an active member of the Australian and New Zealand Society of Neurologists. She is a Conjoint Lecturer at the University of New South Wales. Being a parent herself she is compassionate, understanding, and works in partnership with the families to help achieve the best possible outcomes through up to date and evidenced based medicine.
